The third largest bitcoin whale has purchased more than 2,700 coins in a day as the cryptocurrency spiked above $50,000 has begun its price recovery. This mystery whale has bought over 5,600 BTC in the past two weeks.
According to BitInfoCharts data, the whale added 2,702 BTC worth $137 million at an average price of $50,700 per coin. The whale now holds a total of 118,017 Bitcoin (BTC) now worth more than $6 billion. At current prices, their profit exceeded $3.53 billion.
This is officially the highest number of #Bitcoin EVER held in this wallet: 118,017 #BTC, in total the whale has put $2.5B USD to buy BTC with an average cost basis of $21,160 per BTC.

In July this year, the whale made the previous transaction, when the bitcoin had fallen around and below $30,000.
The whale is quite active in the crypto world since early 2019, he has been steadily acquiring BTC with the earliest transactions indicating they bought 1119 BTC at an average price of $3,600 per coin.
