Reem Al Faisal, Saudi Arabian princess, announced her first Saudi Non-Fungible Token (NFT) collection called “Mekkah and Madinah,” on Opensea and an art gallery in the metaverse. The NFT collection features the Saudi shrine, Al Kabbah, while six Saudi artists are featured in the art gallery.
According to her Instagram post, the Saudi princess says the launch of the NFT collection adds another chapter to her long career as a photographer which started in her childhood.
Today we made history by the first exhibition of Saudi NFTs in the Metaverse. I have been photographing all my life, since I was a child, and therefore I don’t consider it a career as much as part of me. It is as natural to me as talking or breathing.
Photography is another way of expressing her faith and a way of showing “the relationship of man with his creator” She added.
